SEAT PRODUCT ENGINEER

Location: Shanghai
Department:  Interior & Exterior

This will make you grow:

• Completion of new products together with the project manager and insurance of compliance with APQP requirements and project timing
• Preparation of product SOR, follow-up of BOM/KPC/manufacturability report,etc., follow-up of product trial out, testing results and on-site technical support
• Involvement with production suppliers to analyze and solve quality problems, tracking solutions and actions
• Supplier management

This is how you‘ll take us forward:

• Bachelor or master degree in automation, mechanic, vehicle engineering
• At least 3 years-experience in automotive OEMs, system suppliers, or relative vehicle Design Company
• Good development experience on interior system (e.g. seats)
• Good knowledge about seat components (frame, foam, trim) and production technologies
• Knowledge of automotive development processes and standards (e.g. ANPQP, PPAP, etc.)
• Skilled to use CAD systems such as CATIA V5 and/or UNIGRAPHICS
• Team player with good organization and problem solving skills
• Good English skills
• Flexibility and interest to work in an international project environment
